Mitchell’s Run Thru Rockford is an annual 5k run/walk to raise money for
Parent Project MD.

Parent Project MD is committed to expediting viable treatments and a cure for Duchene muscular dystrophy. Duchene muscular dystrophy is the most devastating of the muscular dystrophies. Mitchell’s Run Thru Rockford will donate 100% of the race fees and pledges raised to Parent Project MD.

Mitchell, age 16, was diagnosed in March 1999 with Duchene muscular dystrophy. It is our privilege to be able to coordinate this effort to help raise money to end this disease.
